Utility Rate Increase Notice:
A utility rate increase will go into effect with the November 2024 utility bills. East Garrett WSC was notified by the City of Ennis of a rate increase for wholesale customers effective on the November billing. The new rate will reflect an increase of an $8.00 base and a $2.00 per 1,000 gallons on water (beginning in November we will start billing per 10 gallons instead of per 1000 gallons).
East Garrett WSC staff are committed to managing these costs in the most efficient and sustainable way while maintaining our commitment to our future growth.
