To all potential new East Garrett WSC Customers,
All new water applicants are required to complete and pay for an application for a hydraulic investigation study to determine the ability to serve additional water meters within East Garrett WSC. The amount of water we are currently allowed to provide is limited, per the contract with the City of Ennis. We are currently working on a full system hydraulic study for future growth within our district. This study will aid East Garrett WSC in having more capacity to supply water to our customers and storage for emergency use.
The hydraulic study fee is a non-refundable $200.00 per meter connection, and each study will have a completion timeline of a minimal three weeks. If approved by the engineer, it will then be voted on by the board of directors, to allow the future water customer(s) to take the next step to continue to apply for water service. All requirements in the application process must be completed to establish water service and full payment will be required after review by the General Manager. Please allow five business days for approval; upon approval the new water customer will be contacted with steps to complete full payment before the water meter is installed.
